Does the skin lightening hydroquinone work very well?

I have heard that hydroquinone helps fade freckles and dark patches on face. Anyone out there ever used it and does it work?

it works but a lot of it is not good for your skin. don't use any product that has more than 3% of it.
Reply:Avoid using this product, it is dangerous in the long run. It has been banned in South Africa after a couple of hundred cases of skin cancer on the face were reported. Every patient was a user of this product.
