try AMBI skin lightening cream- sold at drugstores and target for $4.99, but be extra careful because hydroquinone is extrememly dangerous to ur skin! just dab a bit ONLY on the spot u want to lighten and NOT TOO MUCH. don't keep using it after ur skin is already lightened.
also, dont use it on ur entire face!

Reply:try skin success fade cream. it's great for hypopigmentation, scars but it's best to use these products along with sunscreen. it's very low and hydroquanine (sp?) and it works.

If so, then apply lemon juice with some sugar on your face and leave in for 20 minutes. Wash with luke warm water. You will notice your face to be dry and stretchy during those 20 minutes but that is normal just bare it for a while and once you wash it you will notice the difference in about a month. This will also help with your blackheads and oily skin around your nose if you have that !

My girlfriend is a physicians asst, and works for a famous Beverly Hills Dr. (frm one of the dr's on Dr. 90210) - They recommend bleaching creams. Go to a local dermologist and ask for the best bleaching creams around. Will vary in cost ranging from $30.00 to 1-2 hundred bucks. Stay out of the sun.

The very best to me is the Obagi-C Clarifying Serum. It has 4% RX strength hydroquinone (lightener) and 10% vitamin C (makes skin SOOOO smooth)! This is RX strength so you have to get it from a dermatologist, esthetician, or you can also get it from eBay or somewhere else on the net. It's about $80 but you can get it online for around $60. It's well worth it. A little goes a long way %26amp; I have one bottle well over a year %26amp; a half!
The serum is ONLY to lighten the skin. You need to use a separate sunscreen (of at least SPF 30) when going outside. Obagi also sells this or you can get one over the counter.
I think you should use a separate moisturizer formulated for your skin %26amp; not something combined (from experience).

3. Apply sunscreen at least 15 minutes before going out

They make day creams with sun protection and moisturizer, but I don't really believe they lighten skin significantly - I bet it'd take months, or years to see a difference. They use ingredients other than hydroquinone which are less effective. Sorry I don't really know of a "best" one. I've been using the Neutrogena "Visibly Even" cream, which is a tad greasy going on but is satisfactory, especially since it's fairly cheap.

While I don't know anything about bleaching creams, there is certainly a multitude of creams and potions that claim to block the formation of melanin or to speed up its breakdown and keep you pale. If you go to the Hong Kong websites of the major cosmetics houses (Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden etc), they will all have ranges of whitening creams. Hong Kong because they are more likely to have English versions of website. A very popular Japanese brand is SK-II - which are now over in the UK. They have whitening lotions and face masks. http://www.sk2.co.uk/ look under Brightening. Also try Shiseido's White Lucency range http://www.shiseido.co.uk/ - also available in UK. If you have friends from that part of the world, they may be able to bring cheaper ranges for you (Olay/Neutrogena etc).
Please note that the sort of products I have described above will not do anything for you if you are brown skinned anyway - ie your body is genetically programmed to make your skin that shade.

but for oily skin its ok. the bleaching creams have drying agents like alcohol so this will remove the excess oil, making ur skin normal.
for normal and dry skin, the cream will make too dry. so u need to mosturise a lot
Reply:It depends on your skin type [dry, oily, normal]. If your skin is oily, it can make it worse as the whitening creams have some alcohol in them. It may help if you have dry or normal skin, but you should maybe go to a professional skin care line to get it. Shiseido [sp?] has some good whitening products, like toner and cream.
Reply:When you say "skin lightening cream", I assume you're referring to a pigmentation cream with retinol or kojic-acid.
A common reaction to these ingredients is some redness on the area where you're using it, so you should consult your dermatologist if you have sensitive skin or if irritation persists.
As far as causing acne, I would say that it's not related to the use of this sort of products. Acne forms when pores become clogged with sebum, dead skin cells and bacteria.

yes when you buy it from diana stalder products and if you want to lighten you skin then try to get the whitening set of 3 (black soap or kojic acid soap, whitening cream and whitening lotion) their products really very effective one. You can get in this site for just $26.99 thats cheap but the best stalder products... You can read the customers testimonials and see what you really thing of the stalder products...

If you must lighten your skin get a product that has licorice(no joke)extract in it. Licorice is a proven substitute for Hydroquinone and it does work. I think Aveda or Origins has a lightener with licorice extract in it...Good luck!

No. That lightens your skin. Stretch marks are caused by rapid weight gain and a genetic propensity towards scarring. I tried everything during my pregnancy to avoid them to no avail.

I guess you haven't heard that the chemicals used in lightening creams is dangerous huh? And besides, why do you want to lighten your skin? What you don't like your skin color? I mean if you have blemishes then buy something for blemishes like ambi or oil of olay and nutrogena has some good stuff. But bleaching creams have side effects that you wont like. Believe me I have family that have gone that route and they have skin problems worse than before. So think hard about it and also think about how unique you're with your ethinic background. If God wanted us all to look alike he wouldn't have us all looking different.

Reply:Just buy whatever is cheapest...there are dozens of products with the same ingredients and the prices are all over the place...you need to know that this is a slow process that will take months and if you do not use sunscreen(even on cloudy days there are UV rays) the first time you get too much sun BLAMMMMMO you're right back where you started. I have melasma and have fought UV darkened skin for decades...I now just stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen every day; no matter the weather...
BTW: I have only used hydroquinone and there are newer products but the other stuff works and it is not as expensive as the new stuff...sooo...
